Updated League Transfer and Release Policies !
In an effort to mantain comparable competition and the strength of all zone programs the EYBA and its board of directors have implemented new rules and policies regarding player transfers and releases.
Each zone has created a $0.00 transfer / release request package. This package is for any player looking to transfer to an outside zone. You must first register with the zone you reside in and it is at the discretion of your home zone whether or not you will be granted a release.
THIS PACKAGE IS PART OF THE A REQUEST PROCESS ONLY. In conjunction with this package an email with reason for your request must be sent to vicepresident@parklandbasketball.ca for board review.
- Parkland Basketball will be reviewing all requests at the end of both July and August.
Please familiarize yourself with the updated EYBA transfer and release policies, below is a link to their rulebook, under section 3.17 to 3.32.4
Please note: Registering for this package does not guarantee a release from your home zone, each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is subject to various factors such as registration numbers, program needs, and reason for request.
**If granted a transfer for the upcoming season, there are new rules that require players to return to their original home zone for any subsequent season and go through the transfer process each year.**
